A Beautiful Garden

Do you know of anyone who value nature as much as Samuel’s Godparents? Believe it when I tell you that they have a beautiful garden in their back yard. It is very divine with different types of flowers that welcomes all different types of birds. In the beautiful garden I was exposed to many flowers I have never seen before. My favorite flowers were the roses. Aren’t they beautiful? I think Samuel’s sister really enjoyed herself. Look at her modeling a rose in her hair with the owner of the beautiful garden. I think I am going to hire Samuel's Godparents to come and help me create a beautiful garden in my yard.

Three Months With Teeth

Do you see what I see? Look very closely at his smile. Samuel loves to smile to show off his two pearly teeth. I think occasionally I should pump and bottle-feed Samuel, because breastfeeding him is getting a bit difficult. Those two little pearly white teeth are like weapons when I’m breastfeed. It is so hard to say “NO” because I am busy saying “OUCH” when he bits. Even though Samuel is teething his is still a lot of fun to be around.

Kisses

Samuel and his sister love to give each other kisses. They are never tired of being around each other.Samuel is getting a lot of attention from his sister. She definitely loves her brother very much. Samuel enjoys his “sister-brother time” with his sister. She is convinced that Samuel look like her. According to her, they have similar complection and facial features.hmmmmm. What do you think? She said the funniest thing to me the other day. She said, “Shar Samuel has half of the same blood as me” ( smile ). It is obvious that she has already bonded with her brother.

Baby Bloopers

1. Have you set a nice warm bath for your baby boy and as you place him in the water he decided to pee? Samuel has.
2. While in the process of changing your baby boy’s diaper he felt it was a great time to spray you with his pee? Samuel has.
3. Have you change your baby boy in the car on your lap assuming he was done passing his bowl movement; while changing his diapers he decided he was not quiet done splattering it on your clothes and in your face? Samuel has.
4. Have your baby boy laugh out loud for the first time with his aunt and sister but refuses to laugh for you? Samuel has.
5. Have your baby boy ever farted in church so loud that the member behind you heard? Samuel has.
Mommy still loves you Samuel :)smile

Meet Samuel’s Sister

Samuel’s sister lives in Texas with her mother. Samuel will occasionally see his sister throughout the year. Samuel and his sister have a good relationship. He smiles with her, and at times gives her a look as if to say, “ I love you sis “. She enjoys holding Samuel. Her favorite phrase of the day is “Can I Hold Him Shar” (smile). There have been many times during the day where I would fine her looking at Samuel. It fascinates me to observe her admiration. At times I am curious to know what she thinks about her brother.

Samuel’s Godparents

Samuel’s godparents are two special people. They play a dual role in his life. Apart from being his godparent, they are also his aunt and uncle. Based on their principles, character, and poise my husband and I were convinced they would be great candidates. I will never forget the day my husband and I ask them to be godparents. I was not pregnant at the time, but due to our high level of admiration we felt it was necessary to ask their interest in such a special role. When they said" YES", I was overjoyed and got a bit tearful. I can venture to say that this is very meaningful to my husband and I. Samuel, you are fortunate.

I Am Blessed

I am blessed, for having you.
I am blessed, to be apart of you.
I am blessed, to love and care for you.
I am blessed, to never forsake you.
I am blessed, with each waking moment with you.
I am blessed, for always thinking of you.
Son
I am blessed, I am blessed.
I am blessed, for seeing me in you.

When You Grow I Will Come

Samuel is now teething. He more frequently has his hand in him mouth. I occasionally massage the area where his teeth are protruding. I massage Samuel’s gum with my finger; which appears to be very soothing to him. I feel very sad to see him so uncomfortable. Samuels bits anything that goes into his mouth as a way to cope with the discomfort. Which means, there are no restrictions when I am trying to breastfeed him. At times I am convinced that he is going to yank off his only source for food. (Ouch).
