My pregnancy was a great experience. Apart from the morning sickness there were no complication. What was most difficult for me was that I gained a whopping 30 pounds during my pregnancy. As an athlete, it was very difficult for me seeing my body get bigger and bigger each day. My pant size jumped from a size two to a size five. I guess I ate too many Big Mac. I craved Big Mac throughout the duration of my pregnancy. The most exciting thing was when we saw our first ultrasound of baby Samuel. We were even more excited when we found out that we were having a baby BOY. I could not control my composure. I was out of control with all kinds of emotions. On the other hand, my husband was very happy, but calm. My husband stated he was not given the opportunity to get excited because my emotions were overpowering. Oops.
